An acrylic polymer for two pack cement based formulations. The addition of Flexituff, replacing water in the cement / sand slurry, increases the strength, flexibility and adhesion of the cement based product. This addition enhances the properties, and increases the areas of use of conventional and light-weight renders, where lack of adhesion and flexibility can cause problems.Flexituff added to render allows application onto walls previously painted with acrylic without having to remove the coating. Furthermore, the addition of Flexituff is highly beneficial in waterproofing systems, patching and repair mortars, underlayments and commercial flooring. Renders containing Flexituff can be easily coated with textured wall coatings or conventional acrylic paints.
