Cameleon Product Development

Cameleon Paints is all about innovation. Whether it be customer driven; keeping in step with emerging technologies, or as a result of the companies continuous product improvement program, Cameleon Paints spends considerable time developing new, and improving existing products.

The following products are developmental only, and have not yet reached commercial status. It is extremely important to Cameleon Paints that any new product development has been fully and rigorously tested to ensure that they will give the best possible results when used out in the field.

As these new products are commercialised they will be added to the appropriate section of our website. Remember, if you or your Company has a specific end use for which a coating is not readily available, Cameleon Paints are in a position to be able to custom formulate products for specific end use. Current Development Products

Watersafe Floorcoat SPT181

A water based, single pack, direct to substrate top coat for cement floors which can withstand vehicle traffic, including forklifts. Ideal for industrial, commercial and residential situations. Available in a semi gloss finish or non skid finish in a large range of colours.

Watersafe Timberseal Clear

A waterbased modified acrylic which can be spray applied to timber furniture, floorboards, ceiling boards or structural timber. Produces a hard durable non yellowing surface with excellent abrasion resistance contains a wax for more resistance and gloss control.

Recently Commercialized Products

Camtect UPF649

A fast drying and fast curing polyurethane primer filler which can be sanded and top coat 1 hour after application. Has excellent hold and build properties so it can be used as a primer filler. Top coated with Camtect AU660, ASU727 or AG692
